About Us

Founded by Donald A Briggs Jr. in the early 1970's, Briggs Tree Company, Inc. has operated for over thirty five years as a full-scale, wholesale nursery from its original location in San Diego's North County, Vista, CA location. Our goal is to service the landscape industry all throughout Southern California and beyond. We also sell to the public. We are still family owned and operated, and have expanded to over 200 acres in production growing grounds.

Our growing grounds are located in North San Diego County in Vista, San Marcos and Bonsall, California. Like our sales yards, these growing grounds are meticulously maintained to yield strong, healthy and mature plants. After being grown to their full potential, our plant material is then stocked in our sales yards where it continues to be maintained in order to provide the best quality to our customers.

Serving through two locations in California in Vista and in Bonsall, both our commercial sales yards provide drive-through service and access to our complete product line for our customer's convenience. Briggs will also deliver direct to your job site anywhere in Southern California and beyond (click here to view select delivery fees). Will-call customers can call ahead for their order and schedule a convenient pick up time.

Although today's water and agriculture regulations are ever-changing, Briggs continues to supply unsurpassed quality plant material just as it has always done for the past 35 years. Customers can count on Briggs consistently not only for high-quality plant material but can also rely on Briggs' expert staff of horticultural professionals to answer questions and attend to its customers needs.
